Exhibitions and Events – Get to know us personally

There is nothing better than meeting in person. The PROTOS team participates regularly at exhibitions and congresses in order to discuss and share the latest methods regarding embedded system development.

PROTOS Participation at Exhibitions and Congresses

PROTOS participates in the world’s most influential industry events

For the industries in which PROTOS operates, there are a number of high-quality, focused trade fairs and congresses that take place throughout the year. PROTOS supports these events and often takes the opportunity to present our latest findings on approaches to testing embedded software and optimal architectures for embedded systems. Listed below are the events where we will be present in the coming months.

ESE Kongress 2025

  • Sindelfingen – Congress Center
  • 02.12.2025 – 04.12.2025

The ESE Congress is Germany’s leading congress for the embedded software industry, which is why PROTOS will once again be exhibiting there this year. In addition, Thomas Schütz will be attending the congress and pre-conference in person and will also be giving presentations.

Pre-Conference – 28.11.2025:

11:00 a.m. – ‘From Prototype to Medical Device’, Reaching the goal with Pico-SPE, Zephyr OS, and modelling with Jürgen Haug (PROTOS Software GmbH) & Jan Koeppen (kws Computersysteme GmbH)

3 p.m. – ‘Developing Hardware-in-the-Loop Tests with AI’, Speed up your development for tests and simulations with Thomas Schütz

Congress – 03.12.2025:

2:45 p.m. (Room 1) – ‘How do I test efficiently at all test levels?’, Which test methods and simulations do I need for this? With Thomas Schütz

Feel free to visit us at our stand or at one of our presentations.

Would you like to talk to us about efficient testing in embedded projects? Or about management and innovation?

Webinar: Safety & Security with Contract Based Design

  • 11.12.2025 11:00-11:45

The software is often initially developed without specific safety & security requirements and the gaps are then discovered and rectified through analysis and testing. Wouldn’t it be good to develop systems from the outset in such a way that they already have built-in robustness for safety & security?

Webinar: Testing Drivers and MCALs for Embedded Systems

  • 22.01.2026 11:00-11:45

Systems with functional safety can be very different in terms of their requirements and effects. If the torque switch-off of a drill fails, you can injure your wrist – the effects of a defect railway barrier are much more drastic. In both cases, the security requirements must be tested very well and a process is needed that can demonstrate the structured approach and identify and eliminate quality gaps.

Webinar: Testing Variants and Productlines for Embedded Systems

  • 19.02.2026 11:00-11:45

Many products are supplied in a rapidly increasing number of variants. But how can I use tests to ensure that all variants work – without immense effort due to excessive complexity?

Webinar: Robustness Tests for Embedded Systems

  • 19.03.2026 11:00
